Texas Veterans Commission
This veteran's confusion  (circa 2003) concerning our Houston VA Hospital compelled action to seek advice. Having never confronted such a situation this was something totally new; ahospital that works against rather than cooperating with a patient.
VA Wars means: an ongoing conflict (purposely orchestrated patient abuse) between our VA and the servants of our nation. For ( Circa 9 years) this hospital patient was treated for peripheral neuropathy (slow conducting nerves). This is nerve damage causing pain (Skin Sensitivity): rub a finger along your arm this sensation you feel is caused by the peripheral nerves. The nerves closest to the skins surface accompanied with numbness and weakness in your hands also feet.
Hazem Machknas Baylor College of Medicine Student Doctor - ignoring extensive medical records - performs a bizarre medical diagnosis - declares no evidence of peripheral neuropathy - treatment stops. No amount of rational debate will change his opinion there will be no second opinion.
Texas Veterans commission located inside our Houston VA Hospital; our VA refuses to place Texas Veterans commission on their building directory this veteran is speaking to a counselor. From questions combined with confusion apparently this visitor is new to "Our VA game."
Amused for a brief time the counselor grimly explains future troubles awaiting this veteran. "The goal of Houston VA Hospital Management is to make you so angry you will never return."

Veteran Complains
The man (circa 1995) is a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran staying at Houston's Open Door Mission Men's Shelter. He is not a classic homeless veteran touted by our present VA rather like many other ODM residents trying to avoid his family. At this place in time unknown to this veteran were the many troubles connected to our Veterans Health Administration.
The Houston VA Hospital is mostly autonomous loosely supervised by VISN 16 in Jackson Mississippi. A convenient configuration as our VA is a vast Federal Bureaucracy with oversite from one official.
VISN 16 is an eight state region with a growing number of medical centers and clinics. A single supervisory authority simply can not control such a voluminous  territory. Control is left to a medical center or clinic director. End Result: a fertile breeding ground for patient abuse.
During this time frame (circa 1995) our VA appeared as a friendly health care provider willing to help. The VA fanaticism which will consume this hospital patients life will not begin until (circa 2002 ). Yet speaking to my fellow veteran my perception was a underlying current of VA tension which was not reaching me.
More than needed rules to control VA property his description described an already hopeless cause. Certainly the Marine was stressed but still maybe an overreaction. For me more like on the outside looking in the situation does not appear that intense.

Page Four2 09 2026
Prelude To VA Wars
From my perspective (circa 1995) our VA appears normal because lacking a "practiced eye" one can easily conclude the Marine Vietnam War Veteran was overreacting to turn of events.
Learning to observe details demands concentration. For an "unpracticed eye" nuances (subtle shades of meaning or expression) escape your attention. You can easily take for granted turn of events are normal this mindset is derived from giving benefit of a doubt.
Easy to look the other way as VA situation cannot be that dramatic. This is where our hapless veteran can expect a brutal shot of reality.
Entering our Houston VA hospital (circa anytime) first floor men's room veterans are assaulted with a putrid stench of urine combined with disinfectant. Our hospital also has a foul odor which can be smelled from the outside walking toward front entrance.
This Web Master's opinion: this foul odor is rotting flesh (dying or dead patients; after all this is a hospital) combined with medical waste.
A message from VA Wars Web Master: the following statement is of a graphic nature and does not reflect the opinion of VA Wars.
A cleaner is preparing to remove graffiti written on a wall apparently the marine was correct a frustrated person wrote in black letters the following statement...
Your VA Assholes and Niggers.

Cycles Of Frustration
Present Day Traumatic Stress Disorder can be further defined as: upset or annoyed because of inability to change something. In this context we are considering Robert Lynch Director VISN 16 Jackson Mississippi (circa 2005) his relentless pursuit of institutionalized patient abuse which engulfed all veterans.
This veteran frustration is a starting component of PTSD. No matter which form of rational a person uses the entire matter consistently devolves into a downward spiral ever deeper into the bowels of VA patient abuse. A endless journey with no end which produces no relief.
From Jackson Mississippi Robert Lynch along with his girl Friday Heidi  encourages Houston VA Hospital Director Edger Tucker and  Michelle Farrow Supervisor Consumer Affairs Houston VA Hospital  to carry out his shameless policy: aggressive victimization of hospital patients.
Often times appears the VA Wars overuses the word "victimization" but this web master is a student of our English language. An thorough inspection shows "victimization" as the only word which supplies enough strength to adequately communicate the depth of our subject. Every time I want to call these people an "asshole" but that word is not descriptive enough.
This veteran's investigation revealed the four mentioned individuals are power players (answer to no one). This scenario give free reign to practice unrestrained patient abuse.

PTSD Far Reaching Effects

Consider the dynamics involved: hospital are places of serious consequences patients are ill or in pain some are dying. What manner of a person views these unfortunate people as an object to take advantage of?
Sympathy along with compassion  (a softer term for "mercy") is a standard medical philosophy. Yet here our Houston VA hospital (circa 2005) Forward Aggression must (no exceptions) be applied to further stress patients.
Pat Flowers
In nature flowers produce a soothing sensation in humans but this flower has a nasty bite...
Approaching our Neurology Department this veteran is speaking to Secretary Pat flowers. She is one reason Traumatic is part of PTSD. Keep in your consideration this violent outburst is done in a hospital where life and death decisions are made.
Irritated by my presence Pat Flowers - jumped from the chair in which she sat - ran into our Neurology Department lobby - she is pointing toward the door - yelling at this patient to leave her office.

Inspiration For VA Wars Website
Hazem Machknas a Baylor College of Medicine Neurology Student Doctor started a chain of events which lead to creation of VA Wars website. Once this incompetent and dangerous individual graduated he was released into our medical community to victimize unsuspecting patients.
Hazem Machknas by way of his actions helped define the meaning of VA Wars: an ongoing conflict (purposely orchestrated patient abuse) between our VA and the servants of our nation. During this time frame (2000 -2005) VA Student Doctors were not screened for mental illness. The degree of his detachment from objective reality can only be derived from personal observation.
Here we obtain a clear example of how our VA Inflicts Present Day Traumatic Stress Disorder on hospital patients. Suddenly without any warning the veteran is thrust into a medical world that is completely different than the one he left behind just a few minutes before. This veteran can testify the experience is a dramatic shock like stepping into a portal nothing about current medical events adds together.
Machknas is also fond of placing pollution into medical records. What personal opinions devoid of scientific facts benefit a patient is unknown. During this time frame placing pollution (toxic words which contain no value) into medical records was a common practice. Once these delusional statements are enshrined into medical records they cannot (for any reason) be removed. Future doctors cannot understand the source of theses outlandish statements so these words for many years cause irrep able harm to the target patient.
This us (Houston VA Hospital) against them (Patients) was an engrained fixture of VA society. Many years was required to remove this VA mindset which I am sure victimized veterans recall. Disturbing this mindless hatred for veterans was allow to continue unabated.
For Edger Tucker: This veteran has not forgotten. You along with Michelle Farrow were the chief architects of this intensified patient abuse.
This entire scenario is a case study in patient abuse which produces future Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in veterans. Starting with obvious disconnect from objective reality - combined with a bizarre diagnostic procedure - ending in a fantasy world medical record.

Page Seven1 28 2026
Contemporary VS Historical VA
Our Contemporary VA abstains from inflicting patient abuse; our Historical VA was dedicated to inflicting patient abuse. In fact our Historical VA was responsible for inflicting a large amount of PTSD on veterans. Their mental attitude was nothing short of a solid no mercy effort. How one can enjoy victimizing hospital patients is beyond my comprehension.
Older veterans may recall the following two pieces of human excrement (circa 2007 - 2012). This duo redefined PTSD as: Present Day Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Robert Lynch: Director Veterans Intergraded Service Network (VISN 16)Jackson Mississippi: Supervisor of our Houston VA Hospital.
Heidi: Answers and takes messages for Robert Lynch: She also blocks veterans access to Robert Lynch.
VISN 16 is a five state region which millions of veterans consider their home. This includes our Houston VA Hospital.
Lynch along with Heidi are responsible for inflicting (with pleasure) mass patient abuse on a large number of veterans.
VA Wars invented the phrase "VA Patient Abuse." Any treatment outside orthodox (traditional) medicine. One expects medical professionals to remain calm while making rational decisions.
Michelle Farrow
Michell Farrow Supervisor Consumer Affairs Houston VA Hospital (circa 2007 - 2012) is a better definition of "VA Patient Abuse."
Farrow is not shy about showing her hatred for the servants of our nation. She is proud to be a disgrace to our medical profession.
Consider this violent outburst is done a hospital where life and death decisions are made. Robert Lynch saw nothing unusual in this startling turn of events.
Approaching our Consumers Affairs Office (clearing house to conceal patient abuse) this veteran was referred to Farrow's office. During our brief conversation my words and actions became offensive to her. This is what Michelle Farrow views as a medical professional.
Farrow jumped from her chair and starting yelling she then pursued this veteran into the Consumer Affairs waiting room continuing to yell. Every person in the Consumer Affairs office was witness to her temper-tantrum.
What About You
At your place of employment or any where in public should you jump from a chair and start yelling at someone while chasing them what is the outcome? For Michelle Farrow professional as well as personal reputation has no meaning. After this shameless public spectacle Farrow returns to her duties her mindset "Just another day on the job."
Robert Lynch along with another piece of human excrement Edger Tucker Director Houston VA Hospital (circa 2007 - 2012)  view Farrows outlandish practices as nothing unusual.
For Stanley Stanton: I still have not forgotten you will be exposed at the proper time. Preoccupied with harassing hospital patients Stanton viewed police work as a secondary job. You are a disgrace to the police profession and you are a disgrace to Houston VA Hospital veteran population.

VA Disability
Just a fact of life stealing has always been a human pastime. This is the motivation which drives ingenuity in a creative approach in obtaining money from gullible veterans.
Some veterans have a mindset the VA Disability is a ticket to a "good life." Stepping outside our VA disability system you are setting yourself up for failure. Our VA is the expert not some internet stranger. I know a veteran who receives 100 percent disability (for life) without stepping outside the VA.
Our VA is hesitant to give veterans money (for good reason): at the same time quite willing to provide far more valuable medical care. Many veterans believe they are entitled (this veteran has never asked for VA disability benefits). A common complaint around our VA: whining like an 8-year old denied personal desires "The VA Fucked Me!" This is almost always a reference to denial of VA disability  benefits. When a fellow veteran speaks to me concerning "denial of benefits" I have to reply "you have the wrong person."
The VA makes a disability decision and can reduce disability should such condition improve. Hence: you are at the mercy of our VA...
While medical treatment (the VA has kept me alive for six years: heart disease) is a long term commitment.
This Coral Sea CV 43 crewman was subjected to prolonged asbestos exposure [ fiber lung carcinogen] along with welding smoke [heavy metal lung carcinogen] contaminants: to this day my lung health is by sheer luck normal.
In past times a disability was - confinement to a wheel chair - limb amputation - or blindness - today some veterans believe disability means "my personal definition" This is precisely the reason VA disability has a closely refined definition.
Give the following your consideration: accepted VA disability means "suffering medically for the rest of your life."
What is VA Disability
Is related to sickness or injury while serving in the military whose service made a existing condition worse after service (Courtesy: Google Search)
Besides military service which can produce PTSD: long time stress (psychological damage) there are many service related injuries.
Example: following completion of World Cruise 1983 Coral Sea CV 43 ships company was forced into slave labor (17 days -12 hours per day - then- 1 single day off - for 13 months) as Fire Watch Division at the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard.
Fire Watch attended welders so to prevent the spread of fire all without benefit of training or experience. The dismantling of CV 43 occurred within confines of a dry dock therefore preventing proper ventilation of toxic welding smoke mixed with asbestos.
This total disregard for the future health of Fire Watch personnel was carried out under the principle of "pressing national security."

Veterans Concerns

Aircraft Carrier Flight Deck Employment

Beware of Jet Blast Propellers and Rotors

This warning sign: appears on Coral Sea CV 43 Island (Command and Control Center) during World Cruise 1983 (this was a circumnavigation of our world). Here on a flight deck within a sea-going airport there is a constant specter of gruesome injury or death from both jet and propeller aircraft.

There is limited room for aircraft movement so timing combined with distance becomes important. A human - aircraft accident is a small distance away. In fact some of the most horrific accidents occur on a navy flight deck...a crewman does receive a $50 per month hazardous duty pay (circa 1983).

How Dangerous is Flight Deck Employment

A average size man can be sucked into a jet engine air intake.

During an evolution of night operations a crewman stops a fellow crewman from walking into an aircraft propeller. The man was just inches from being ripped apart.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

PTSD Journey

PTSD: is defined as a not-expected journey down an unpleasant road which results in personal mental anguish. In this world a short memory is best suited for a stable mental attitude but some people simply cannot just let go of their past. This is where the mental anguish becomes a mental burden of unparallel proportions.

This is also the essence of contemporary VA psychiatry but also applies to the VA Wars patient abuse edition (now out of circulation).

This is where a crewmen's PTSD Journey begins flight deck employment like submarine duty is voluntary. A person uses personal volition to submit self to supreme danger.

In the beginning this island warning sign is meaningless as one cannot fully comprehend dangers involved only with a practiced eye (attention to detail: critical in personal safety)does the meaning of your decision become apparent.

The Recipe For PTSD: volition stimulates imagination which produces fear which becomes a crippling mental attitude. This becomes a cycle of self-induced misery (you do this to self.)

All crewmen assigned to Coral Sea lives in constant fear of personal safety because of CV 43 dilapidated condition: purpose ship neglect by owner which is also your employer the United States Government. Along the Gallery Deck (one deck below Hanger Bay) where G-1 Division resides just a jet engine noise with a smell of exhaust is enough to unease a Forward Bomb Assembly crewman.

At least among the many aggressive attitudes one is not concerned about being sucked into a jet engine air intake - burned  by jet engine exhaust - or ripped apart by a propeller.

You have to constantly confront dangerous situations which fuel present day PTSD. Exposed wiring bundles which is an electrocution and fire hazard. The near constant alarms of fire - flooding -and personnel casualties keep crewmen in constant tension. Then there is the captain...

Scroll down below to find

J D Taylor Commanding Officer

Aircraft Carrier Coral Sea CV 43

United States Navy 1981-1984

This unstable commanding officer only adds more crewmen anxiety producing more irritation enhancing PTSD. Every day a new imaginary emergency along with distrust of crewmen.Stress comes in many forms in our civilian community one can find ways to eliminate unwanted situations. In the Navy (1981 - 1984) there was no escape this Amplified PTSD producing constant friction among crewmen. People from other division will seek out to confront you in order to make you uncomfortable. This entire matter was a person trapped in a "boys home" type environment. The PTSD: Present Day Stress Disorder exist in "The here and now" as well as "In the past". This develops certain thought patterns which accompany a person throughout there lives. Simple to understand: The VA Wars is not only a web site but also a personal therapeutic tool to ease personal tensions. Telling people (for free) about some of the many assholes I have encountered in my life makes my present day life more comfortable.

Veterans Concerns

VA OR

Rushing into our Houston VA Hospital my concern was arriving late as events proved the medical staff was in no hurry and quit willing to make my visit an all day and all night ordeal. Ordeal is defined as: a  painful and protracted experience. I have made (7) trips into a VA operating room this time was without question my most dreadful experience. 24 hours of purposely inflicted discomfort no matter how many times this patient asked for relief hospital answer: "NO!"

For our Veterans Health Administration: I am not implying this is a Edger Tucker: Michelle Farrow type deal but does have similar qualities. This veteran must "live in the shadow" of VA Wars patient abuse edition  (now out of circulation) so must our Houston VA Hospital.

For the uninitiated: this veteran is afraid to return to the department which subjected me to such outlandish medical treatment. Not so much the OR but my hospital room was in fact a most bizarre place.

Not just the surgery but all the anxiety which goes with diagnosis then a long wait until your name appears on a surgery list. The wait is toughest: will you give into fear and cancel or will you have enough courage to see this through?

Just as a patient begin to believe his health is stabilizing lying in one's bed a pain shoots through your body this is the signal a new health concern presents self. Becomes a medical education in that each personal exposure delivers more medical knowledge. Over time a patient becomes more relaxed when working with medical personnel.

Operating Room

Passing through the VA operating theater door this veteran calls out to those pushing my bed..."Trip number seven into a VA operating room." Down a long hall the surgical staff is waiting as I give my complete confidence to total strangers. My rational: these are medical students should they make a serious mistake that will endanger their degree program.

My fear is meaningless because there is no turning back. Sounds dramatic yes? I guarantee the OR staff can easily see fear in my eyes.

Hospital Room

When leaving this section of our Houston VA Hospital fear along with anger accompanied this patient.  So interesting that a patient does not feel comfortable waiting for a doctors discharge but rather desires to escape a hospital. Turn of events was just too bizarre. The entire matter just appeared out of control. Entering into the truck which will take me home was my first relief.

A medical social: an informal (extremely relaxed) social gathering especially one organized by the members of a nursing staff. The nursing station is located outside my hospital room I can hear the party all night. What is interesting is how little sleep theses nurses want for a patient.

Message Board in my room: people are regularly in my room to place a message here. A certain nurse assistant is the supervisor tonight with a change in the morning.

Time Clock in my room: people are regularly in my room too I assume to clock into work.

Waken at 2AM to be asked "Are you an alcoholic? How much do you drink? Not a word about physical pain following three hours in the OR. These hospital workers are always interested in how much alcohol a patient consumes not a word concerning drug use.

The Houston VA Hospital cannot afford anticoagulant medication (5MG Pill Apixaban: worlds most powerful anti-stroke medication) but will rather "Give shot in stomach." I decided against the a shot while the nurse insists that "The needle is not that large (all hospital needles are large) that many people really do not complain."

This not "So large needle" must pass through the skin - through the abdominal muscle wall - then penetrate deep enough to enter you stomach. What if you miss?

During this time I have been without anti-stroke medicine for almost four days am at a high risk of a stroke from Atria Fibrillation but we cannot - for any reason - just give you a pill.

Room kept uncomfortable cool. Keep in your consideration this during winter. Heat is at a premium.

Two IV Ports one in each arm. One must stay in place until discharge the reason is unknown. Pre-Op the anesthesia nurse was content to continue digging the IV Needle into my arm until finding a vein.

Sound of vacuum cleaner all night: In the room adjacent to mine all night I can hear the sound of a vacuum cleaner. This persistent noise causes me to consider "Who has to clean the same room all night?"

Veterans Concerns

Thoughts Of Houston Cardiology

Pacemaker is defined as: battery powered device to regulate a slow heart rate (Bradycardia: Atria Fibrillation ).

Of interesting note: often times people are afraid to touch my pacemaker located just under the left chest side collarbone.

This cardiology patient has viewed my pacemaker on a chest x-ray frontal view. Still amazing after six-years this medical implant miracle invented by VA research is keeping me alive.

This patient has learned an important lesson: your heart works hard to keep you alive your heart also works hard to take your life.

Warning: heart disease is the number one killer in our world.

There are times this veteran perceives that cardiology has fallen short of their mission. There are certain qualities of cardiology this patient finds concerning.

Cardiology Clerks

The clerks will not answer their phone. Instead the preferred method is to place a caller on hold then the patient is forgotten. The clerks also do not take messages for your doctor instead "We will have that person call you."

These cardiology clerks actually practice a form of patient abuse. Cardiology is all about life and death. Consider this patients situation: my pacemaker fails my heart stops beating then instantly I am a dead man.

Yet these clowns perceive nothing dangerous in cardiology. They report to work simple to collect a pay day. Sitting in the cardiology waiting room I have to remind people of my presence. Cardiology clerks fail to understand that once these patients leave their department some will never return heart disease will have taken their life.

Pacemaker Clinic

The pacemaker clinic has distanced themselves from their patients. There was a time whe the patient received a call so as to "Discuss your monitoring results."

Now : "No call means no trouble with your pacemaker." You are left practicing guess work.

Becomes even more disturbing: Upon leaving a pacemaker clinic appointment I can hear the staff laughing while joking among themselves "He cannot be serious asking those questions."

The entire clinic - pacemaker patient - relationship has devolved from trust and comfort to one of feeling forgotten while left behind.

Veterans Concerns

Broken Promises

A fellow Veteran can have this time slot if you call to cancel. This Post-Op Surgery patient did not "call to cancel" and still remains curious as to what the surgeon did want to speak with me about. Not calling when promised can be caused by many reasons but one will assume (assumptions are dangerous when dealing with our Houston VA Hospital) that a surgeon will be anxious to speak with his Post-Op Surgery patient.

Now consider the Houston VA Hospital instructions...

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CLINIC. We will call you at numbers provided in your chart. Our staff will CALL YOU on the date of your appointment it may be off the scheduled time. If you do not receive a call the day of your appointment (I did not receive a call) our miss our call (I did not miss the call) Please call...

Kay Bailey Hutchison United States Senate 1993-2013

In the Mind of Kay Bailey Hutchison (her neuron forest) lurks volition ready to strike at unsuspecting constituents. In this regard...

"The VA Wars does not know what became of Kay Bailey Hutchison more than likely the witch climbed on her broom and flew away."

Road To VA Patient Abuse

Starts at our Houston VA Hospital (Neurology Department) travels to the Veterans Intergraded Service Network (VISN 16) Jackson Mississippi then onto VA Headquarters Washington D C ending in the Congress and Senate (Kay Bailey Hutchison). All along this twisted road veterans encounter a seemingly endless line of assholes.

Congressional Inquire

Your Senate Representative (Kay Bailey Hutchison) as an individual is powerless when confronting your Federal Government. Our Senate is not part of our Federal Government but is a representative of the American people - too - our Federal Government...

if a dead beat such as Kay Bailey Hutchison tells you otherwise she is not revealing the truth.

You are experiencing friction with a part of the Federal Government. Your Representative will initiate a Congressional Inquire even talking tough to the extent "I will get to the bottom of this!"

This type of false bravado is empty political speak in reality the following will occur...

The part in question will provide - one written response - this will be the final  answer. Your only option is litigation through the Federal Court. The words VA Patient Abuse do not appear in Federal Law .

Privacy Release Form

Which contains your personal information is required. This information includes your private telephone number. In this instance my mothers private telephone number. As will be demonstrated "Kay" (as she likes to be known as) uses private information as a weapon against constituents.

" Kay" has now reviewed the Federal Government response in this instance the VA has informed her that patient abuse in government owned hospital will continue unabated. At this stage of the VA Wars this veteran did not know "Kay" is powerless and she did not inform me. So a explanation is requested.

Important

This veteran has never been indited or convicted of a federal crime yet on the phone was considered guilty as charged.

Sweet Kay she will never...

Special Agent Watson

Using my mothers private telephone number his goal was to berate me personally instead he has found my mother. She was upset and informed me that Special Agent Watson was demanding that I return his phone call. I moved to another location using a friends phone.

Paranoid Personality Combined With Ignorance

Watson begins reading from my letter (I in no manner had threatened "Kay") merely expressed my dissatisfaction with her false facade. Watson carefully reads each word he perceives as a threat to Kay Bailey Hutchison trying to extract the secret meaning while attempting a confession of his imaginary crime.

After several failed attempts Watson who lives in his own police fantasy world stops. His demands are that I a constituent stop all efforts to contact Kay Bailey Hutchison.

This is exactly what the VA Wars patient abuse edition exposed for (14) years. No matter where the veteran turned to there was a insistent VA demand that abusing the servants of our nation will continue. There was no avenue of recourse.

Look at the section Road To VA Patient Abuse every possible avenue of relief was explored only to result in intensification of patient abuse. We are touching on a VA effort which lasted (9) years resulting in me placed on a VA Watch List harassed by VA Police (Stanley Stanton I have not forgotten you will be exposed again at the proper time).

Senate Ethics Committee

I sent a letter to the Senate Ethics Committee asking for relief from the aggressive tactics of Kay Bailey Hutchison. The letter mocked my pressing concerns while informing me there will zero effort to control sweet "Kay." In effect "Kay" is not subject to Senate Ethics and is free to confront constituents a she deems necessary.
